Finger pressure massage is an effective technique which offers relaxation and calmness. It can be carried out through clothing or as a full body massage. Finger pressure is used to stimulate key acupressure points throughout the body and then we add a combination of massage techniques, stretches and gentle manipulations, which can help to alleviate muscle tension, stiffness and to ease pain.
Acupressure massage can also be structured to help with recovery from injuries or conditions affecting joints or soft tissue.
Seated acupressure massage is a treatment is derived from a Japanese technique and has been tailored for the modern day fast-paced way of life. It’s carried out fully clothed in a specially designed chair, offering maximum comfort.
Hands, elbows and bodyweight are then applied to over 90 specific acupressure and trigger points. The aim of the treatment is to stimulate areas on your head, neck, shoulders, back, arms and hands. It can leave you feeling relaxed, yet energised and alert! It can also significantly reduce muscle tension in the upper body by concentrating on the areas most affected by repetitive work. Seated acupressure massage may also be beneficial in managing stress and alleviating headaches, migraines, fatigue and insomnia.
As with all our treatments, your acupressure massage will be tailored to your requirements and a combination of acupressure and reflexology can also be offered.
